Marianna Amon

Marianna Amon completed the Montessori training and founded an Institute for Early English for Children in 1993, which I successfully managed for about 10 years. At the same time she gave private lessons in German, mathematics and English. After I moved to Germany in 2001, she worked in the environment of the employment agency and the job centre in measures and education management.

She was supported by numerous training courses such as the instructor aptitude test and the training as a social counsellor. In 2012 Marianna started a new pillar in the area of case management and completed training as a case manager.

At the same time, she started the ABAG project (job-related training and basic education) for the Learning Region in cooperation with the University of Cologne and the State of Rhineland-Palatinate in numerous projects. After her return to Austria, she continued to work in case management and the ABAG project until 2016.

In 2016, Marianna Amon moved to educational institutes in Vienna, among others, and took on individual coaching in German, mathematics and English as well as seminars in the areas of German as a Foreign Language/Dazi, social skills, preparation for the apprenticeship certificate and intensive training for skilled workers in electrical engineering. In 2017 she completed her training as a DaF/DaZ trainer.

Why did I become a language trainer?

The birth of my first daughter in 1991 inspired me to deal with pedagogy. I completed the Montessori training and in 1993 I wrote a programme for the early education of children in English. As a logical consequence of further development, I switched to adult education in 2006.

What motivates me and drives me in my profession?

My profession is my vocation. Over the years I have met interesting and inspiring people. Being able to follow the development of individual people over a longer period of time is a strong motivation for me.

What do I like to teach most?

My favourite subjects are German, mathematics, competence development and preparation for the apprenticeship certificate.

Why do I work with CL: CasaLinguae?

At the beginning of 2018 I was asked if I would like to teach German as a second language for CasaLinguae in a company and immediately accepted.
