Margarita Hauer

Margarita Hauer was born in Volgograd, Russia, and started her career as a language trainer comparatively late. Before studying at the renowned Pushkin Institute for the Russian language in Moscow, she completed her university education as a social worker and gained her first pedagogical experiences in various projects.

During her studies Margarita also worked as a ballet dancer at the Volgograd State Opera. Margarita got a very good insight into the cultural scene of Russia. Driven by her childhood dream of becoming a teacher, she completed her training as a language trainer for Russian in 2017.

She has already been able to support numerous private students and clients of language schools in Russia and Austria in their language learning. In her lessons Margarita pays special attention to achieving personal goals and selecting and creating individually appealing materials.

Why did I become a language trainer/translator?

Already in my childhood I dreamed of becoming a teacher of Russian. I was fascinated by the beauty of Russian language and literature and wanted to share this enthusiasm with others. Since I love working with other people, my work at CL: CasaLinguae takes me a big step forward in living this childhood dream every day.

What motivates me and drives me in my profession?

First and foremost for me is the development of my apprentices. It is highly inspiring to see how they are getting better every day and achieving the goals they have set. This also motivates me and spurs my creativity to create individually tailored materials. For me, taking into account the interests of the learners is the foundation on which good teaching is built. What I like about my job is that it is so varied, offers a lot of fun but also challenges, and you get to know many new people.

What do I prefer to teach or translate?

In principle, there is no special level that I like to teach because I feel comfortable at all levels. Special courses (phonetics, job-specific courses etc.) are also a lot of fun for me and bring a little variety to “normal” language classes.
