Business Preliminary (B1)
The Business Preliminary is a certificate on the intermediate level and shows your superiors that you are able to
* read and understand short messages
* interpret tables
* write short e-mails
* follow short telephone conversations and discussions and
* talk about company-related matters
Business Vantage (B2)
The Business Vantage serves as a qualification on an advanced level and shows that you are able to
* write short business letters and e-mails, reports and offers
* read and understand excerpts from business texts
* participate in discussions and understand them.
Business Higher (C1)
The Business Higher serves as proof that your English language skills are at a very high level in the business world.
The Business Higher shows your superiors that you are able to
* communicate effectively and professionally

* adapt to different cultural and social situations
Which level is the right one?
After a placement test we can determine your language level and prepare you for your exam. Please include the information which exam you would like to take or which level you would like to reach when booking.
The Business English Certificates (BEC) are examinations for Business English. They are mainly based on realistic situations from everyday business life. They are offered at CEF levels B1, B2 and C1 and can also be taken on the computer.

First Certificate in English
The First Certificate in English (FCE), colloquially called First, is the first ESOL exam. The abbreviation ESOL stands for “English for Speakers of Other Languages”, but since 2013 the exam has been renamed “Cambridge English Language Assessment”. The Cambridge First Certificate is an internationally recognised language examination and has a requirement profile and level comparable to the TOEFL test. The Cambridge Certificate is valid for life
This level is recognized by employers and learning institutions worldwide. The FCE is for candidates who wish to pursue a higher education and work in an English-speaking environment.

Certificate in Advanced English
The Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) is a language certificate of the University of Cambridge. It is the second highest ESOL exam. The certificate entitles the holder to study at universities in Great Britain.
Cambridge English Advanced is at C1 level and is officially recognised by thousands of universities, employers and governments. It is aimed at future students (undergraduate/graduate level study) or people who want to work in an English-speaking environment.

Certificate of Proficiency in English
The Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE, often called Proficiency) is the most demanding of the English examinations at the University of Cambridge. The CPE is aimed at people who are not native English speakers and proves that they have reached a very high level of English and can communicate in almost any situation with confidence and accuracy. The CPE is recognised by many universities as an entry requirement for English-language courses, but often the less comprehensive CAE or FCE tests are sufficient.
As the highest possible examination within the ESOL examinations, the CPE level is also one level higher than the globally recognised Business English Certificate of the highest level (BEC Higher).
