German courses in Vienna – your language level according to GER
Level A1 – without previous knowledge
This German course is suitable for beginners. No previous knowledge of the language is required. In addition, you will ultimately understand and use simple sentences aimed at satisfying specific needs.
Topic selection: First contact, living, everyday life, orientation in the city, at the doctor’s, eating and drinking
Level A2 – with little previous knowledge
In the end, the learners have a repertoire of elementary linguistic means to cope with everyday situations with predictable content. You can speak about familiar and everyday things in German and express your own opinion.
Topic selection: appearance, personality, school, job, family, nature, travel, celebrations
Level B1 – with basic knowledge of the language
At the end, the learners can express themselves linguistically and culturally appropriately in order to express their own opinion, to be able to give a short presentation and to understand and make additional comments. You can discuss current topics in discussions.
Topic selection: Emigration, professional world, politics and society, culture, sport, media
Level B2 – with a solid knowledge of the German language
At the end of the German course, you can communicate spontaneously and fluently and express yourself clearly and differentiated on a wide range of topics. You can also participate in discussions and weigh up arguments against each other.

Level C1 – with good knowledge
The aim is to be able to express yourself clearly, structured and in detail on complex issues. The participants can use German flexibly in social and professional life.
Topic selection: news, society, literature, research, networks, globalization, finance
Level C2
This German course is suitable for experienced German learners. At this level, you can easily understand everything you read and hear.
In addition, information from various written and oral sources can be summarized. Reasons and explanations are given in a coherent representation.
The participants can express themselves spontaneously, very fluently and precisely and can communicate easily even in complex situations.
