If your conversation partners speak slowly and clearly and help you, you will be able to express yourself in a simple way. Level A2 – with little previous knowledge of the English languageAt this level you can understand sentences and frequently used expressions such as personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment, etc. You can communicate in simple, routine situations requiring information about familiar and routine matters. In addition, you can describe your own background and education in simple terms. Level B1 – with some basic knowledge of EnglishYou already understand familiar things from work, school or leisure very well. Especially when we use a clear standard language. In addition, you are able to cope with most situations that you encounter when travelling in the language area. It is easy for you to talk about experiences and events, to describe dreams, hopes and goals. Giving brief explanations or reasons for plans and opinions is no longer a hurdle. Level B2 – with a solid knowledge of the English languageUnderstanding the main content of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics is no obstacle. You can also understand technical discussions in your own special field. Moreover, you can answer spontaneously and communicate fluently so that a normal conversation with native speakers is possible without much effort on either side. You are also able to express yourself clearly and in detail on a wide range of topics; to explain a point of view on a current issue and to give the advantages and disadvantages of various options. Level C1 – with a good knowledge of EnglishYou can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts and also grasp implicit meanings. You can use the language flexibly in social & professional life without having to search for words more often. You can express yourself clearly, in a structured and detailed manner on complex subjects. Level C2 – with excellent English skillsIf you are already at C2 level, you can easily understand practically everything you read or hear. Information from various written and oral sources will be summarized by you. You will give reasons and explanations in a coherent presentation. You can also make finer nuances of meaning clear in more complex situations. You answer spontaneously without having to think about it for a long time. In this course you will deepen the knowledge you have acquired and receive the “finishing touches”. |
